In the Press: The Spoiled Life

Drifting Arrows swim featured alongside Marc Jacobs, We are Handsome and other great brands in a the article, "Not Just Another Itsy Bitsy Bikini".  Here's what they had to say about us:

Seattle’s up-and-coming independent swimwear designer Leah Lawrence, of Drifting Arrows, is known for classic, retro designs and expert tailoring. The Kure Bikini, in a soft shade of sage, features a high-waisted bottom with side ruching that flatters any figure. Smart details (strapless top, V-wire insert) keep this 50′s throwback modern and interesting. “The cut really accentuates the natural waistline and creates a very feminine look, all the while being very modest and effortless,” says Lawrence of her signature suit.  All the swimsuits in her collection speak to sophisticated and effortless women, who crave quiet keyed beaches kept secret by locals. “I design for the woman who understands her personal style, Lawrence says. “[She] takes a thoughtful approach to dressing.”

New Arrivals: By The Sea Company

We're so happy to add Kauai-based 'By the Sea Company' to our family of offerings.  They make the most beautiful, gauzy, multi-use sarongs around.  They are handmade (on Kauai) from 100% organic batiste cotton, and hand-dyed using natural indigo and other dyes.  We are wearing them as scarves, draping and knotting them around us as sarongs, wrapping up in them as blankets, and resting our tanning bodies on them as beach blankets.  Shop them here.

They also make the perfect little house slipper, which is handmade from vintage Kantha quilts from India.  Shop them here.
